In donations for tretyakov gallery we raised $3500 donating the yacht

http://www.aftgusa.org/custom3_1.html

August 07, 2007

Dear David,

How can I ever thank you? Your generous donation of your loft was the star of the live auction. It raised $7,000 – nearly enough to run a High School chapter for the year. David – you support means the world to us. We share each of our volunteer's triumphs and success as they grow in our programs. Because you are a part of the community that makes Best Buddies possible more kids with special needs are growing up with the understanding of their self worth and greater confidence that they too belong! So much of this couldn't happen without supporters like you.

All our thanks,
Kayle Jacoby

The opportunities

Lalique Crystal and Roberto Cavalli are sponsoring a charity fund raiser. We are currently seeking more people interested in raising funds and awareness for children's chairities. For our next event we had been approached and have agreed to do an event for Ronald McDonald House, and agreed to do an event for them which will take place Thursday May 17th at Carnegie Hall. We are also in the planning phases for a late summer event benefiting Best Buddies. In 2008 we aim to have one Carnegie Hall fundraiser a month, promoting new pianist talent and charities. You will be heavily exposed to the most amazing people and charities in Manhattan. It is an amazing way of meeting committee board members of every conceivable charity in town and celebrities supporting these charities. It will be great fun as we share numerous dinners and cocktails regularly for the different committees.

Best Buddies Charity

Dear David,

I can't thank you enough for the exciting opportunity  you have provided for Trail Blazers through your Carnegie Hall event. Last night's dinner was phenomenal and I was moved by the wonderful people you brought together and their willingness for the sucess of the event!

You are making it happen for us!
Thanks again.

Warmest Regards,
Kate Sullivan

"Trail Blazers is an award winning youth development organization that for the past 120 years has touched the lives of thousands of urban youth from New York and New Jersey. Each year in collaboration with the Nature Conservancy, hundreds of urban youth attend Trail Blazers' Summer Outdoor Experiential Education, Winter Education, Leadership Training and Mentoring Programs. Trail Blazers offers a comprehensive network of services designed to help young people make positive life choices through exposure to the outdoors, community living, education and play."

We would love to have you involved! Please join committee chairs and me for dinner and a meeting Sunday Jan 14th or 21st at the loft. Last Sundays December 3rd and Dec 17th had too many people show up. We are helping Kate Sullivan, of Trailblazers.org, raise funds via a concert featuring classical pianist Tian Jiang at Carnegie Hall on Sunday, February 18th. “The experience of meeting one of these amazing kids will move you as it did me to become a part of positive change.”

His experience includes broad academic and policy experience in senior positions in the White House Council of Economic Advisers as well as at the US.. Treasury.

September 21

The last concert produced by DrakeLife at Carnegie Hall in September with Julian Gargiulo sold out. Mr. Gargiulo is a fast-rising, young Italian virtuoso pianist who performed selections from Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms and Scriabin. The concert took place on Thursday, September 21st at 8pm, and had people lined up at the doors at the last minute trying to get tickets. Tickets were sold at:
http://carnegiehall.org/article/box_office/events/evt_9677.html
The September 21st Carnegie Hall event was sponsored by Drake Corporate Housing, Opia Restaurant and Lalique Italian luxury crystals.

May 17

The same corporations will sponsor the next concert on Thursday, May 17th. These sponsors paid to have their name and logo appear in the program; Lalique had their crystal next to the piano during the performance and all three sponsors were included in both online and print-media coverage.
Lalique luxury products is a 140-year-old French luxury crystal firm that sells its products in their Madison Avenue store; they secured the first row of the hall. In addition to these sponsors, Italian clothing designer Roberto Cavalli has signed on to sponsor the next event. Half of the revenue from this show will be donated to the Ronald MacDonald House charity and partial of the income will go towards raising funds for a grand piano at TheSohoLoft.com whereas to arrange a summer and fall competition of 10 weekly Julliard students. The winner (at least one) shall be offered to play at Carnegie Hall for the upcoming fundraiser 2008.

February 18

Why don't you sponsor this or my Sunday Feb 18 Carnegie Hall concert for as little as $2000-$4000? its for a good cause and we are attaching our names to luxury products like Lalique, Roberto Cavalli and Carnegie Hall not to mention this charity?
Here are the sponsorship details: DrakeLife is producing a Carnegie Hall Concert at Zenkel Hall. Talented young Italian virtuoso pianist Julian Gargiulo will again be the performer. He sold out Weill Hall (the other hall at Carnegie) in September 2006 with his unique blend of classical piano and his ability to make classical music more accessible to a mass audience by speaking directly to the audience between pieces using a friendly, humorous tone. This is what one reviewer said: "To play like this, one must be born to it. Once again Julian Lawrence Gargiulo amazed with his Chopin, to whom he dedicated the entire first have of his concert Thursday, September 21 at Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall in New York." Then went on to say: "…as usual, Gargiulo talked, joked and laughed with his audience, combining classical piano with his unique style of "stand-up comedy" to create an original and fresh performance." He is of world class caliber and also extremely personable and connects with the audience to give a lasting impression. Other firms are invited to sponsor the event as well as indicated below. It would be fun and good exposure to be associated with names like Carnegie Hall, Roberto Cavalli and Lalique as well as the fact that this is a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House.
Tickets selling for $100 will be 50% tax deductible for this event as the fundraising is done for the Ronald McDonald House of New York. I'm very excited about raising these funds. Talent magazine is sponsoring the event and my PR department will work closely with you, the Ronald McDonald House and the performer to create the right publicity for this event. This should be fun for us all to get involved with minimum effort.
Sincerely,

David Drake
